Spa & Leisure

If you’re on the lookout for some well deserved relaxation, you can find it at the Notos Wellness Centre. As the name suggests, wellness is at the centre of their philosophy, which is reflected in the range of spa facilities and treatments on offer. Facilities include a hammam, ludicum, vapour area, beauty centre, and hydropool.

Facilities aside, the treatment rooms are available complete with highly trained therapists and well executed treatments. These include massages – including a range of massages from all over the world, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, mud rasuls, exfoliations, and finishing touches.

Hotel & Accommodation

Located in the Calabria region in Italy, Hotel Altafiumara has views as impressive as its history ready to be discovered by the discernible traveller. The building the hotel is housed in has been restored, and is found along the Viola coast (so named because of the colour of the sunset) – complete with panoramic views of Sicily for you to admire. With 10 acres of land, 128 bedrooms, 40 suites, 38 junior suites, 49 standard rooms, and plenty of buildings on site, guests have their choice of where they want to spend time; a restored Borbonic Fort known as ‘The Castle’; ‘The Park’, a contemporary art house, surrounded by lush gardens; and ‘The Sporting’, which is where the wellness centre is found.

There are four banquet halls on site – The Two Seas Restaurant, The Tapestry Lounge, The Sails, and The Orangerie Lounge – and three panoramic banqueting terraces; The Castles’ High Terrace, The Esplanade Terrace, and the Poolside Terrace. All of these halls use the freshest ingredients they find from locally sourced suppliers where they can. There is also a wine cellar in the dungeons of the castle, as well as a bar in The Castle.
