Golf Club House,
East Lothian, Scotland
Spa & Leisure
Something of a rustic haven, Fletcher’s Cottage Spa is characterised by its wooden beams and lime washed interiors – it is unpretentious and extremely welcoming without compromising on luxury. Facilities include a gym, relaxation room, sauna, marine steam room, an ice feature and a walled garden.
Complementing its seaside location, the spa uses marine based VOYA products as well as Aromatherapy Associates, Essie and Spiezia to provide a collection of treatments including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and mud rasuls.
Hotel & Accommodation
Named after the archers of King Edward I who camped on the site in 1298, Archerfield estate has an illustrious history having hosted Mary, Queen of Scots and Winston Churchill amongst others. Today it remains just as accommodating, whether you are staying in one of the lodges, Pavilion suites or in the house itself – it’s all comforting, cosy and really rather grand!
The restaurant is located in The Clubhouse at the golf club, which is a big feature of the hotel, and has a bar area for lighter meals and drinks as well as a fine dining area. It is open for all meals including breakfast. It is a little walk from the accommodation and spa areas, however if you are staying in the Pavilion suites the concierge is on hand to give you a lift.
