Surrounded by Italian landscape and impressive architecture, you’re sure to be awe inspired by all of the local area and the hotel itself.
Found in the centre of Milan isn’t a bad deal – it’s the fashion capital of Italy! Have a nosy around the shops after a morning spent at the spa.
Spa & Leisure
Named Amore e Psiche, after Cupid and Psyche from the Latin novel Metamorphoses, the spa at Chateau Monfort is all about bringing peace and harmony to your body and mind. Found in the ‘dungeons’ deep in the heart of the hotel, you will find a sauna, Turkish bath, experience shower, a swimming pool with salt water, an ice fountain, a relaxation room, a caldarium, and a fully equipped fitness centre.
Using the product house Pañpuri, the treatments on offer are specialised and enticing. They range from special treatments including body scrubs and treatments for weary feet, to facials, revitalising body treatments, aromatherapy massages, and back treatments.
Hotel & Accommodation
If you want to feel like you’re escaping to your own fairytale, Chateau Monfort will complete the image for you with an almost folkloric look and feel to the castle. The inside is designed with a modern twist on the classic castle look, and will immediately be reminiscent of your childhood fairytales. There are 77 rooms, including 8 suites, all of which are themed with childhood memories and fairytales.
As for eating, indulge in some fine dining at Rubacuori Restaurant, a mixture of four rooms each bringing a different fun element to the dining experience – be it mirrors, trophies, teapots and cups, or heart shaped chairs. Try Bar Mezzanotte for an evening of drinks surrounded by whimsical decorations. Just make sure you get out of there by midnight – or hang around and watch the large clock, made by Eberhard, strike 12. For a more rustic drink, head down to Cella Di Bacco, the wine cellar found in the dungeons. Have a guided tour by the Best Italian Sommelier 2006, Michele Garbuio, and indulge in some cold cuts and cheese.
