The philosophy behind Cotswold Fitness Breaks isn’t to provide a quick-fix health solution or to be a fat-busting bootcamp – this is all about having fun and creating a plan for long term health in the inspiring surroundings of rural Gloucestershire under the guidance of proprietors Tim Colston and Mike Edwards (a rock star in a former life, but we will let him fill you in on the details) who have longstanding backgrounds in the fitness industries and catering to the training needs of professional sportsmen and women.
Combining a contemporary studio on the outskirts of Tetbury and making the most of the expanse of open fields and undulating hills and valleys, guests are put through their paces with a series of activities alongside core fitness testing and a little local sightseeing for good measure to make sure you return to daily life feeling refreshed and wholly motivated, safe in the knowledge that their support is just a phone call away should you need it.
Hotel & Accommodation
As with the fitness element of Cotswold Fitness Breaks, the goal is to utilise the best that the local area has to offer and as such accommodation and dining are at The Priory Inn in the picture-perfect village nearby. The inn has all the charm of a cosy Cotswold stone house, with 14 rooms featuring coffee and cream interiors, American walnut furniture, and little touches such as handmade soaps that add to the whole boutique environment.
Very much in keeping with Cotswold Fitness Breaks’ ethos of accessible and enjoyable health, The Priory Inn prides itself on serving food which has been sourced within a 30 mile radius of the location, and care of a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere everything from breakfast to dinner and all those bits in between provide a wide variety of seasonal options, including children’s menus.
