My partner and i arrived at the Hotel looking forward to a relaxing day of pampering and some nice food , how wrong !
From the moment we stepped into the reception area we was greeted with a happy polite receptionist who made us very welcome and helped us with the booking in process. We were then shown to our private changing room (not communal like many Spa's)then onto the tour of the Facilities . Our treatments were booked for 12pm so we ventured outside to the Jacuzzi which was sheltered by bushes and a view of the surrounding fields . On the day there was workmen replacing Gym equipment alongside the Jacuzzi area which was a bit open to view but i suppose they have a job to do .
We had our treatments and i can honestly say it was by far one of if not the best back massages i have ever had (a close call to a Thai massage on the beach!) i would highly recommend it . From there we spent 10 minutes in the relaxation lounge before wandering off to have our two course lunch . What a fantastic lunch , the food was superb and the service was spot on . We felt out of place in our Robes and slippers as it felt like we were having an Ala Cart'e lunch but everyone one else was doing the same so no problem .
Back to the Spa and we spent the afternoon relaxing in the lovely warm pool , the spotless Sauna and the very relaxing Steam room . In between chilling on the comfy loungers and dipping into the Pool and indoor Jacuzzi the time seemed to fly by . Everything on the day was excellent , everywhere was spotless the robes were very soft and there was endless supply of water tea coffee and places to sit and relax .
This has to be one of my favourite Spa's , my only Gripe was that the clock on the wall was always Fast !! .
