Spa & Leisure
In addition to the gym, the waters of the La Garriga area are the focal point of the spa. Having been revered since the Bronze Age, with the Romans also extolling the healing virtues of the natural springs, today they flow through the Hotel Blancafort Spa Termal’s Thermal Centre at a consistent 60° Celsius.
Owing to their subterranean origin the thermal waters are saturated with sulphates and chlorides, and bathing in them is particularly recommended for treating skin conditions, strengthening the immune system, and soothing arthritis, joint pain, high blood pressure, muscular-skeletal disorders, muscular hypertonia and stress … or for the pure indulgence of enjoying them!

In the little town of La Garriga, close to Barcelona, sits the four star Hotel Blancafort Spa Termal. It has 155 rooms and suites, many with their own terraces, balconies, and even Jacuzzis, they provide a romantic escape with a historic reputation as a destination for relaxation, and combining the grandeur of traditional architecture with contemporary amenities.
There are three main restaurants at the hotel, in addition to the Lobby Bar and Rincón Chill Out for the spring and summer seasons. Restaurant D-Ors Gourmet, named after Catalan writer, Eugeni D’Ors, is the place to go for breakfast, and the El Olivo is an elegant fine dining setting serving Mediterranean fare.
