The hotel is 30-minutes from Salzburg Airport by car, but if you’re bringing your helicopter there’s a heliport on site.

Kempinski Berchtesgaden is the perfect location from which to explore this unusually beautiful part of the world, and being outside here really is part of the experience. To help you choose where to go and what to do, they have an Activity Concierge named Manuel Huber, who knows the mountains like the back of his hand and can take you on the most spectacular hikes or recommend activities. The fitness centre includes a gym with cardio and strength training equipment, while yoga, Pilates and personal training is also available. There’s a beautiful heated outdoor pool, which is pure magic surrounded by the trees and views of the mountains. There’s also an indoor pool, two saunas, a steam bath with colour therapy, a physiotherm infrared cabin, a solarium, and a sun terrace.
Kempinski The Spa offers a collection of beautiful treatments and therapies. Towels, robes and slippers are provided, there’s a private spa area for two should you request it, and massages and beauty treatments are available in abundance using Alpine herbs from the surrounding environment, as well as the luxurious La Prairie product line.
