Spa & Leisure

The whole experience at Masseria Torre Maizza is one of elegant relaxation and laid back charm, from the heated outdoor pool in a walled garden to the private beach that stretches to a nearby fishing village. Nowhere however, is the sense of calm more apparent than in the Aveda Spa, which is built into a rock formation and includes a gym, pool, whirlpool, and a Turkish bath with eucalyptus oil. Treatments are particularly special combining the use of herbs and organic fruits in the Aveda products, as well as olive oil treatments (olivetherapy). Reflexology and Shiatsu are also available, and provide the ideal accompaniment to post yoga or tai chi bliss.

Hotel & Accommodation

On the same estate as its sister venue, the Masseria Torre Coccaro, Masseria Torre Maizza is a five star hotel situated amongst olive groves, featuring architecture traditional to Puglia and views of the Mediterranean Sea. With 30 rooms, vaulted ceiling and little private gardens are a standard feature while suites include extra details such as Jacuzzi’s, fireplaces, and larger terraces. Food at the hotel is regional and locally produced, so a visit to Masseria Torre Maizza is certain to showcase the best Porcini mushrooms, fish, or foraged fruits, whether you are dining in The Restaurant Le Palme in the old stables, or having a light lunch in The Cabana by the pool.
