Spa & Leisure
The spa is hidden away underneath this venue, and is reachable by underground corridors, adding a romantic and secretive charm to the already luxurious venue. The luxury Hotel Spa Bologna is the perfect place to regenerate with a range of impressive spa facilities. These include indoor and open-air pools, a Jacuzzi, Biosauna and Finnish sauna, ice-fall, sensorial showers, sensorial tubs with underwater music, Kneipp treatment, and an ample relaxation area with tisanerie. Over the summer months, guess will have free access to the 1770 sqm of external pool area including three open-air pools (including one wellness saltwater pool) with natural solarium.
With such an expansive list of facilities, it’s only right that there’s a spa treatment menu to match, wouldn’t you agree? Luckily, the spa at Palazzo Di Varigana is inclined to agree and has a host of treatments including different facials, massages, foot treatments, manicures, pedicures, detoxing treatments, firming treatments, reflexology, treatments for men, and beauty treatments.
Hotel & Accommodation
Nestled away in 28 hectares of private parkland in the Bolognese hills, the historic hotel of Villa Bentivoglio is as decadent as it is beautiful. With over 300 years of history and tradition hiding away behind its doors, guests can enjoy the local area to soak up some culture, and including the still-visible remains of Domus and mosaics left of the ancient Roman city of Claterna which sits on the site of the hotel. The hotel has 90 rooms in its grounds, set in different buildings, creating an exclusive resort-village. Guests can also enjoy free wifi and free private parking throughout their stay.
There are two restaurants at the venue; the Pool Lounge Bar and Restaurant which is surrounded by a green park complete with lush vegetation; and Il Palazzo, a gourmet restaurant that adds a touch of sophistication to any meal. The former overlooks the pool, and provides the ideal situation to consume a light and simple dish close to nature. Meanwhile, Il Palazzo is an altogether more formal affair, and the menu consists of exclusive dishes prepared by Chef Noble.
