Spa & Leisure

The Farnatchi Spa is beautifully designed in the historic heart of the Marrakech medina. In true Moroccan style, it has private marble hammams with vaulted ceilings, restful treatment rooms with their own shower facilities and a menu of light healthy lunches available. Framed by intricate mosaics, there’s also a seven-metre pool in the courtyard, designed for cooling off in the heat.

The whole experience is about the treatments and relaxation, so the spa has teamed with Ila, a luxury organic skin care brand, which reflects faith in the power of nature as the source of real wellness. All of their products are hand made from carefully sourced organic ingredients from around the world, including Argan oil, found in Morocco. They also use local partner, Nectorome, which has its own garden outside Marrakech where they produce the ingredients for their high quality aromatherapy products, and are definitely worth experiencing.

Hotel & Accommodation

Through a nameless wooden door with a barely visible bell, surrounded by the vibrant and rich culture of Marrakech, Riad Farnatchi is a hidden gem. Comprising of 10 luxury suites each with its own individual style. All suites have hand made beds, use Egyptian cotton sheets and have Bose iPod docks, on-demand movies and WiFi as well as the beautiful interior design to recommend them.

Le Trou au Mur is the hotel’s restaurant, set in a small riad in the oldest part of the medina, the décor is a unique blend of local craftsmanship and modern European style. It’s chic and relaxed, it’s ideal for lunch, evening canapes or supper on the roof. There’s air conditioning in the main restaurant area, or a log fire in the cooler months.
