Spa & Leisure

Surrounded by 86 acres of countryside, the spa at Rookery Manor in Somerset is a converted barn in the grounds of the estate, designed to match the calm of its surroundings with wave loungers, a tranquillity room, outdoor hot tub and a hydrotherapy pool.

The treatments list matches the top-to-toe ethos of the rest of the venue, using Elemis, Jessica, GELeration, bareMinerals, Fake Bake and Vani-T products to provide a range of facials, wraps, scrubs, pre-natal treatments, manicures, pedicures and finishing touches.

Please note: the hydro therapy pool will be out of order from 23rd December over the Christmas period

Hotel & Accommodation

This four star venue is a sixteenth century manor house with 30 bedrooms, surrounded by private grounds, Somerset countryside, and owned by Ian Clapp, whose family has lived there for four generations. Fittingly, interiors are a lavish combination of rich fabrics and contemporary colours in a period building that sits on the edge of a rather idyllic lake.

The Rookery Bistro, overseen by head chef Alex Thompson, is an informal setting open throughout the day, and serving a traditional, British menu with continental twists, and priding itself on locally sourced ingredients.
