Spa & Leisure

The SansanaSPA at the Royal Marine Hotel is the latest addition turning the historic hotel into a contemporary escape, and adding another dimension to the hotel’s fitness components at The Pier Health Club.

While the health club is home to a gym, 18-metre pool, sauna, steam room, and a hydro pool, the spa has a complete thermal suite featuring Float and Relax rooms, a rock sauna, steam room, aroma room, mud room, and experience showers. There is also a lounge area, manicure and pedicure suite, dry floatation, and nine treatment rooms.

Hotel & Accommodation

Dating back to 1828, The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire has its place firmly set in history as well as the South Dublin landscape overlooking Dublin Bay. The hotel is an ornamental, white building complete with intricate mouldings on the outside thanks to the original design work by John McCurdy. Today it retains its four star status, and testament to its high-end appeal is a string of prestigious visitors, including Frank Sinatra, Laurel and Hardy, and Charlie Chaplin.

As a merry nod to former guests, there is a Laurels Bar and a Hardy’s Bar, while the Pavilion Bar and Bay Lounge are also open for drinks and light bites. The Dún Bistro is the main restaurant however, providing a luxurious environment and a fine dining menu overseen by Head Chef, Karl Smith.
