    Hotel Spa

Unlike so many hotel spas, the spa experience at Soneva Fushi is very much an extension of the whole resort and its ethos - a fusion of natural and holistic wellbeing as well as a touch of decadence. While all villas have their own pools and you are surrounded by sea and white sandy beaches, the Six Senses Spa provides a haven for massage, yoga, facials and body treatments nestled into the beachside jungle.

The range of options when it comes to dining is both phenomenal and exemplary, from seafood to vegan cuisine. For a particularly special occasion however, the hotel offers what it calls ‘Destination Dining’ - an invitation to break the rules and choose your dining location, whether it’s on the beach or in the jungle the team will prepare it for you.

This is definitely the stuff of fairytales and proposals from the five star service and style to the impossibly beautiful natural surroundings. Wellbeing is set at just the right level to really add that extra feel-good-factor to the holiday as well.

    Family Friendly

In addition to its luxury credentials, Soneva Fushi makes for an easy family holiday. With your own private villa there’s plenty of space for children to be themselves, with their own pool and perhaps even their own water slide to play on. The Den is a supremely popular playground where children explore a pirate ship, two swimming pools, a Lego room, a dress-up area, cinema, library, learning area and music room filled with instruments. There’s also an outdoor Den where children can meet bunnies and lizards, and before bed the resident astronomer will share star-gazing secrets.

Spending time outdoors is a prerequisite, but for those not content to read by the pool or on the white sandy beach, activities range from glass blowing to sunset dolphin cruises, eco-friendly surfing to diving, snorkelling with manta rays, or gazing at the stars from the middle of the ocean at the hotel’s own observatory.

Spa & Leisure

From sunset dolphin cruises to diving and eco friendly surfing, snorkelling with manta rays, taking part in a catalogue of water sports, or simply reclining on the beach, Soneva Fushi is a tropical paradise island and invites you to spend every minute enjoying the beautiful location. Amongst its experiences there is the Six Senses Spa, an award-winning experience in its own right, nestled into the island’s beachfront jungle and hinging on a combination of modern luxury and Ayurvedic wellbeing practices.

While the villas have their own pools, the spa is home to a gym and many holistic wellbeing classes with a particular emphasis on yoga. The central focus however is on the treatment menu - a rich blend of massages, facials and body treatments that focus on wellbeing as well as a tasteful touch of decadence (thinking in particular of the 24k Gold Age Defying Facial).

Hotel & Accommodation

A famously beautiful desert island hideaway in the Maldives, Soneva Fushi sits amongst the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters of the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The height of luxury, combined with the most beautiful of natural surroundings, guests stay in spacious luxury villas surrounded by tropical foliage. Accommodation ranges from the one bedroom Crusoe Villas complete with their own private pools, along a catalogue of sizes up to nine bedroom villas, all with their own private living areas and outdoor spaces and some accompanied by water slides and private saunas.

Dining offers the same breadth of variety as the accommodation, allowing for guests to enjoy spectacularly romantic breaks as well as indulgent family holidays. For example, Fresh in the Garden sees you surrounded by banana trees in a restaurant without walls about the herb gardens, while Sobah’s sits on an uninhabited island only 15 minutes away by speedboat. There’s a daily buffet at Mihiree Mitha, while Out of the Blue serves international cuisine with a sea view and Once Upon a Table is a culinary theatre for eight showcasing some of the biggest names in fine dining. There is a Michelin Star sushi counter with just five seats, and an open-air Teppanyaki table to name a few, while for those looking for the ultimate in romantic experiences, dine under the stars from the beach or in the jungle with their bespoke destination dining offering.
