Travel-inspired treatments that take you on a sensory journey
A subterranean haven in the decadent surrounds of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the seductive tranquility of the St Pancras Spa is unmistakable in its appeal. Transporting you to another world – one of mood lighting, aromatic scents and a Moroccan ambience. There is a gym, saunas, and a steam room. The cavernous vault that was once the kitchens now houses a sapphire blue relaxation pool that’s as inviting as it could possibly get.
When it comes to having a treatment, the experience is equally opulent. Heated treatment beds are complete with duvets and the treatments menu has been written as the diary of a Victorian lady recounting her body-boosting global exploits in all their spice-infused glory.

Home to the famous Gilbert Scott restaurant
Easy access to London’s top attractions
All gothic arches and distinctive two-tone brick work, Sir George Gilbert Scott’s architectural masterpiece has been opulently renovated to tread that all too tricky balance between contemporary design and staying true to a building’s historic significance. Rooms utilise stylish furnishings and colours against original fireplaces, high ceilings and lancet arches.
Overlooking the train station, the Booking Office bar serves light bites (think truffle-fried chips, cheese on toast, mini smoked salmon bagels) and Victorian punches. For more substantial meals, the Gilbert Scott restaurant under the direction of esteemed chef Marcus Wareing offers an array of quintessentially British classics. The Hansom bar and cafe serves cocktails and afternoon tea.

Really relaxing experience in this lovely spa. Swimming pool was small but nice for floating around in, not suitable for doing lengths but good temperature. Not loads of places to sit and it was quite busy but sauna and steam room also nice and clean. The treatment itself was perfect, full body scrub and really professional massage. My therapist, Lauren was really sweet and explained everything well. Relaxation area after was also lovely. Highly recommend.
We had the Last Minute Arrive and Revive deal. The venue is beautiful, few people so plenty of space, clean, lovely staff, wonderful treatments - we enjoyed the Black Soap body scrub and Balinese Facial. The pool is amazing which doubles up as a hot tub and is luxuriously warm. Don't miss the relaxation room, which you get to use after the treatments.
Thoroughly recommended. We came out glowing and feeling new for a New Year!
The facial and massage my partner and I had from Nanny and Chelsea was awesome which made our day. The food which was included in the package was appalling and a waste of money. The soup came out cold and had to be sent back the chicken was very basic and not tasty at all. Only enjoyed the bread with the soft butter. The lockers inside the changing rooms were a tight squeeze. Everyone trying to get dressed in such a tight space. The jacuzzi inside the hydro pool was not hot and very high in chlorine which stung my eyes. The staff were all very lovely and welcoming.
Very good - excellent booking process and info.
Excellent staff & treatments.
would have liked more luxurious loungers by the pool but the chairs were ok really.
Disappointed with this spa, having previously visited and had a wonderful experience.
The most shocking thing during our experience which as this was a 30th birthday present I was most annoyed not to have the 5 star experience. A maintenance man was painting the ladies changing room door, his response to me asking if it was wet was “it’s water based” and the receptionist response was “he won’t be long.” He then propped the door open so he could see in to the changing room due to the glass panel.
In the environment we are in I also would think a top London hotel would have for ride of single use plastic but it was very much there is full force.
Where the jacuzzi is part of the pool it was rather cold on this visit but the pool was pleasant enough.
The treatment was wonderful however it was strange not to be asked my preference for the oil or If the temperature was ok on the heated bed.
I strongly suggest the manager go try the spas at Pennyhill Park and South Lodge to see how it should be done!
I received a voucher for a day spa pass including a facial and massage as a birthday present. The whole experience was fantastic. The spa is beautiful with excellent facilities. The facial and massage were the best I have ever had. All in all a first class facility which I recommend without any hesitation.
There wasn’t much to the spa itself. The pool is very small and was a little cold. The relaxation area around the pool was also a little cold. The jacuzzi was working.
Our lunch was excellent and in a great setting.
Both of us experienced brilliant massages. Probably one of the best massages I’ve ever had.
I Would go back just to see that massage therapist, however I wouldn’t rush back to the spa.
Stunning venue, clean and well kept spa. Super friendly and helpful staff. The only issues/negative comments were that the pool/jacuzzi was freezing and honestly uncomfortable to relax in because of this and the steam room was really lacking steam. The single sex saunas are a dream but disappointing for anyone coming for a couples retreat.
The swimming pool was smaller than we expected. The temperature in the jacuzzi was warmer on one side than the other, I had mentioned this to staff and they said they were working on the water temperature.
The body exfoliation and massage treatments were excellent. Staff were friendly and nice.
Thanks to Gemma from spa breaks for organising the entire thing. The spa was awesome. The ambience was pregnant with relaxation and sweet smells. Massages were thorough and staff very polite.
We has a lovely day, everything was clean and looked lovely. Some small things let it down though. The pool and changing room is very small. Also there are no fresh towels in the changing rooms, so had to track down staff if needed. Staff were friendly and polite however miscommunication meant we were in separate treatment rooms, despite the couples room being booked.
Overall though a great day was had. The afternoon tea was divine!
My massage was chaotic and therefore stressful. It hurt at random times and then was so light it was as if she was asleep! Pressure wasn't applied equally, too many moves and flicking in me made me jump.such a shame...your staff need more training to improve this to a quality treatment.
The high tea was lovely and the facilities good. Need more pegs to hang your robe on in the pool area.
Staff need to alert you to the time or you miss the tea as there are no clocks anywhere.
On arrival I was greated by a huge smile, and offered complimentary water infused. I was then shown around the facility.
Changing rooms - a bit on the small side . Very safe as you have your own locker of which you put your own digital code. There were complimentary accessories, like a comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, vanity kit . The changing rooms led to the pool area. The changing rooms also had a sauna.
The spa area - this was just beautiful..the pool, although small was big enough to swim. It was lit with blue lights. The décor gave it a roman feel to it. There was also seats around the pool and a jacuzzi within it. It was spotlessly clean.
The steam room was by the side of the pool. Adequate size. My only grumble was that when the steam was being pumped out it was rather noisy.
Treatments - i booked the time traveller package in a special
deal for £90 (usually £110). That include a body scrub and a back massage. My massage therapist was Marmon. Everything about her was just fabulous. Her massage was spot on , her mannerisms were just perfect. I added half hour onto my package and that cost me £60 . Which was totally overpriced in my opinion. The therapy room was just sublime. The bed was heated. It was spotless.
The relaxation area. - this area was just sublime. Complimentary tea and nibbles (crisps) and the chance to just relax after the treatments. Just perfect.
Overall - I really enjoyed my stay here. The spa was just beautiful, the ambience calming and relaxing and the treatments were brilliant .
I am a masaage therapist and I find it really difficult to find someone with good tehnique, applies the right pressure and has a warm personality that makes you feel relaxed and trusting..
My only complaint really is that additional treatments are too pricey.
