Hotel Spa Venue
A cosy and welcoming hotel that sits in 33,000 acres of beautiful countryside, the Devonshire Arms is a rich and historic hotel with exceptional food as well. Immediately opposite the main building, the Devonshire Spa is housed in a barn conversion and offers guests a pool, gym and beauty therapy suites, while in the grounds guests can play tennis in this awe-inspiring Dales setting.
There are both pre and post natal treatments available for new mumas and mummies to be!
With hundreds of year’s worth of tradition behind their doors a visit to The Devonshire Arms is as much a lesson in history as it is in relaxation. It is situated on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate and inside original features are accompanied by art, antiques and contemporary furnishings chosen by the Duchess of Devonshire herself.
Surrounded by incomparable views of the Yorkshire Dales and ruined abbeys, castles, and stately homes waiting to be visited. When you’re not in the spa, of course!
The head chef, Paul Leonard delivers a delicious and varied menu across two restaurants, with many ingredients grown in the hotel’s own garden.
Spa & Leisure
The Devonshire Spa is housed in an ancient barn, adjacent to the Devonshire Arms Hotel. There are four generously-sized therapy rooms, an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, a rasul temple, and a charming relaxation space and lounge with views over the tennis courts. You will find a separate gym next door complete with cardio equipment, weights and resistance zones, perfect for combining a pampering experience with a feel good factor workout.
While simply staying within the tranquil, natural beauty of The Yorkshire Dales is therapy enough for some, the spa also invites guests to optimise their stay and spoil themselves with a range of spa treatments as well. Highly recommended are the rejuvenating treatments from luxury skincare brand, Temple Spa. The spa offers a wide selection of holistic therapies that aim to restore mind, body and soul.
