Spa & Leisure
Housed in an ancient barn, the spa at The Devonshire Arms Hotel is naturally impressive and tranquil. The facilities at the spa include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, relaxation area, lounge, and treatment rooms. There is also a gym next door, complete with cardio, weights, and resistance zones. The spa is a special space, reserved for the stressed out so they come out refreshed and rebalanced.
The spa uses popular product house ESPA for their treatments, and their highly trained staff are on hand to provide you with the crème de la crème of rituals. These therapies include facials, massages, pre/post natal treatments, wraps, signature rituals, body polishes, scrubs, eye treatments, foot treatments, manicures, pedicures, and an array of beauty treatments.
Hotel & Accommodation
Built in the early 17th century, The Devonshire Arms Hotel stands today with years of history behind it. Having been owned by Dukes and Duchesses, the regal link to the hotel is undeniable, with the Royal Family staying there for grouse shoots during the 19th century. Today is stands proud and strong, with a range of classic and cosy rooms available for guests. Split in to the Old Wing and New Wing you have an array of choice, and all of the rooms are individually decorated so no two rooms are the same.
Work up an appetite for some of the best food in Yorkshire, found at the hotel. The Burlington not only holds 4AA Rosettes, but is the winner of The Yorkshire Post’s “Best Hotel Restaurant 2015”, and is considered one of Yorkshire’s finest restaurants. It mixes the classic country house style of the hotel with fresh ideas for food, offering an exciting menu from head chef Adam Smith. The Brasserie is on hand for a more casual dining option, and makes for the ideal stop for informal lunches and dinners with friends. The hotel also serves afternoon tea, now with the piano being played live during your experience.
