Spa & Leisure
Located in the middle of the rolling Dorset countryside, The George Albert Hotel is well suited to leisure escapes, taking in the surroundings and having a break from the busy working week. In the local area, sporting activities are within easy access, while the hotel itself is home to a spa and leisure facilities that include a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
The spa is primarily centred around a true pampering experience however. Known as La Vie Spa, it is a haven for face and body treatments using the ESPA product line, and is also home to a hairdressing salon, approved by Moroccanoil.
Hotel & Accommodation
The George Albert Hotel and Spa is a private, family owned hotel located in the rolling Dorset countryside. All modern facilities and warm welcomes, it sits between the county towns of Yeovil and Dorchester and opened in 2010 complete with 39 rooms and suites and a becoming contemporary style. Guests can choose from double, twin, single, family, and disabled rooms, as well as three family rooms which include bed settees, making it a welcome retreat for both business and pleasure.
Food and drink is served in the Kings restaurant, a fine dining experience where attentive waiters serve a modern British menu. Chefs use as many local ingredients and suppliers wherever possible, and are palpably passionate about seasonality, freshness and variety in everything they prepare. After dinner, drinks in the lounge are a favourite pastime, an environment that’s also ideal for coffees and light snacks throughout the day as well.
