Rua de Oitavos,
Quinta da Marinha,
Spa & Leisure
Instead of going down the usual route of darkened rooms for and windowless spaces for a spa, The Spa at the Oitavos has opted for a bright and airy design. Glass walls surround the spa, framing a panorama of natural landscape. Offering the opportunity to revitalise your body, there are a range of facilities that can assist this. These include ten treatment rooms, a relaxation room, a fully equipped gym, and a Balneotherapy area with an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountain and shower, and Jacuzzi. The spa is for 16 year olds and over. Not only is the spa on offer, but there are a range of other activities that guests can get involved with; cycling, golf, and yoga included.
Taking inspiration from their sea-based surroundings, they use the popular Irish product house, VOYA – famed for its organic seaweed harvested from the Atlantic coast of Ireland. The list of treatments at The Spa are exhaustive, ranging from massages, facials, and wraps, to some more unique treatments like milk and honey baths, dry exfoliation, and pindas therapy.
