Spa & Leisure

Inspired by the ‘zen’ philosophy, The Sanctuary spa is about wellbeing and luxury. There’s a Jacuzzi, relaxation area, sauna, and steam room, but no pool or gym – this place is about pampering.

In addition to the peaceful location, the heart of the spa is all about treatments. In 11 rooms including two dual treatment rooms, therapists deliver a collection of therapies from luxury French brand CARITA, whose Haute Beauté concept works to bring out your natural radiance. For a unique spa experience, an additional spa pavilion is located in the centre of the tropical garden overlooking the lagoon.

Hotel & Accommodation

On the east coast of Mauritius along a mile-long stretch of picture-perfect beach, fringed by the azure Indian Ocean and tropical gardens, The Residence Mauritius is a retreat inspired by the island’s turn-of-the-century plantation houses. There are 135 rooms and 28 suites, which are romantic, intimate spaces with sunlight sifting through the shutters.

Dining is about exotic flavours and tickled taste buds featuring recipes from around the world in restaurants offering a symphony of tastes and aromas. Mauritian cuisine is characterised by a medley of Indian, Chinese, European and Creole influences which you can experience in The Dining Room restaurant or oceanfront dining at The Plantation. For light lunches head to The Veranda, and for afternoon tea and evening cocktails there’s a beautiful bar as well.
