When was Thornton Hall built?

Originally built in the middle of the 19th-century as the home of the Bamford family, Thornton Hall then passed to the Leverhulmes. It fell into disrepair after the third Viscount Leverhulme died in 2000. In 2005 it underwent extensive renovations and refurbishment after it was bought by the Thompson family.
