Spa & Leisure
Situated on the outskirts of the village of Tywardreath, two miles from the port of Fowey, the various aspects of Trenython Manor offer guests views of St Austell Bay, which sets the scene nicely for the leisure elements of the resort. There is an abundance of outdoor activities from golf to kayaking, horse riding, surfing, and even shark fishing all nearby. Indoors however, things are a little more sedate.
There is a fitness suite, pool, spa bath, sauna, and steam room, alongside treatment rooms using Elemis to offer a host of treatments and finishing touches as well as Indian Head Massage and reflexology. To make things that little bit more convenient, the spa area is also open late on selected evenings.
Hotel & Accommodation
Surrounded by the charming villages and rugged coastline that characterise Cornwall, Trenython Manor is a family friendly hotel with the added benefit of being set in its own 24-acre estate. Including 22 en-suite bedrooms, the main hotel dates back to 1872 and has been restored to include original colonnades and carved oak panelling, in contrast to 37 contemporary, self-catering lodges across the resort.
Changing the menu on a daily basis, and offering local ingredients and traditional dishes with a twist, Tm’s Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers elegant fare for all palettes. Crystallising their reputation as a family friendly venue catering to all guests, there is also a children’s menu.
