There aren’t many hotels that have their own beach where you can ride a horse, but in fairness, there aren’t many hotels like Trump Turnberry. With breathtaking views, a golf course and even its own mini Highland Games, this is luxury on another level and the spa is no exception. Overlooking the sea, you can enjoy your decadent treatments and relax in the hot tub and swimming pool knowing you are in the capable hands of experienced therapists and renowned skincare brands.

Restaurant
Located on the rugged west coast of Scotland, sits the legendary Trump Turnberry, A Luxury Collection Resort and its famous links courses, which have been welcoming guests since 1906. Here, each hotel bedroom has been refurbished in 2017 with rich mahogany furniture, sparkling chandeliers and lavish Italian marble bathrooms. Meanwhile, lovingly restored public areas, bars and restaurants showcase magnificent views of the resort’s championship links golf course towards the Isle of Arran and beyond.
The hotel’s sparkling restaurants and bars take you on an epicurean journey. Experience the signature restaurant 1906, where guests can enjoy the most delicious and sustainable of dishes from farm to fork. Indulge in the timeless atmosphere of The Grand Tea Lounge and Bar, enjoy a relaxed drink in the 19th hole, The Duel in the Sun or visit the Halfway House with its views of Ailsa and Arran, a spectacular venue for a fine food. The theatre of the Chef’s Table is also available in the heart of the Trump Turnberry kitchen.
We sat down to our afternoon tea and as one of the guests were eating there scone they found a large piece of plastic in the scone we alerted the staff who took it away and said it was getting investigated but they didn’t even ask us if we were ok or anything I’m quite disappointed on the attitude as this could have cut there mouth as it was in there mouth as it was in the middle of the scone the guest that was eating this has a denture and that is why she noticed it quickly it was very sharp and could have cut there mouth I thought Turnberry should have taken her details to let her know the outcome but to be honest they just wanted us to go away it spoiled our day as we all had been looking forward to it as we had just had a family bereavement
Because the Spa was quiet (only seen 3/4 other guests), it felt very relaxing.
It had all the facilities that you would expect and everything was clean. We really enjoyed the use of the facilities. The views were beautiful.
My locker had no slippers (but my friends did) so had to ask for them. Only one towel available per person which I did not feel was enough for facility use and for a shower at the end.
Staff were friendly. We had not been before so the receptionist showed us around the Spa which helped, but we had to ask were to go to dine for afternoon tea. The receptionist did not make much eye contact with us or re-confirm our treatment/lunch timings which would have made the experience more personal. We felt a little under-dressed in our robes for afternoon tea as we were the only guests dressed that way (but the receptionist said we could go dressed or in our robes). The food was lovely and they catered for my friend who didn't like certain items. After afternoon tea was served, there was not much interaction from the staff there. No one asked if we would like further drinks etc and I had to find someone to tell them we were going to leave (assuming we could settle any extras at the Spa).
The treatment was good quality. I felt comfortable with the therapist and she explained the treatment well. She used a good pressure and allowed me to relax. I liked the products that she recommended for my skin. We were collected late which we didn't mind as someone told us that would be the case and we still received our full treatment time.
I would definitely recommend the Spa to a friend.
Spa desperately needs upgraded - it has remained unchanged for over 25 years now. Therapist seemed like a trainee with little experience - massage & facial were average at best. Others in group had a better experience but overall - could do much better!
Our spa day was so relaxing. The staff were excellent. The inky down side was the jacuzzi didn't work and there no sauna room. Appart from that it was a wonderful day.
I had the most wonderful, relaxing experience at Turnberry everything was perfect from the moment I arrived until the moment I left, just superb. Thankyou
Was an absolutely amazing day we were well looked after. Lunch was very nice and after time at pool went for a backneck massage and facial.the therapist was 1st class and made me completely at ease
We had a great day at this spa. We got a good deal through spa breaks and paid about half of the price it would normally have been.
Definitely recommend this spa break.
Great experience from morning to late afternoon. Would highly recommend it as a group experience with friends. The best spa experience i have had. The people outwith the staff were really friendly and the buzz and environment of the place, especially on the day we went - was spectacular. The venue was marvel in itself.
