The healing power of Carratraca's sulphurous, calcium and magnesium waters dates back to the time of the Romans, and has been a favourite of esteemed historical figures including Eugenia de Montijo (wife of Napoleon III).
The 1800 m2 thermas relax mind and body under the guidance of doctors, specialists and therapists alongside facilities that also include yoga, a water gym in the thermales pools, a gym a Turkish bath, a sauna, two relaxation areas and a meditation room. The spa is also home to eight treatment rooms and a further eight treatment rooms with access to the thermal waters. The guided thermal circuit is the central treatment for which the spa is known with hydromassage, contrast baths and a bitermica circular shower, while detox getaways and true wellness is the central core of the whole hotel.
