Read full postThe Free From Skincare Awards were started in 2012 to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’ many of the allergens, ingredients, additives and artificial fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, health concerns, as well as ethical, personal and environmental issues.
Used by the beautiful spa at Careys Manor Hotel in the New Forest, where guests are treated to an all encompassing spa experience including 19 richly appointed and spacious treatment rooms, SenSpa’s products are as natural as they can possibly be and are free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates and animal ingredients. The spa itself offers treatments inspired by holistic wellness and is committed to providing a spa experience focusing on the balance of mind, body and spirit with a fusion of Eastern and Western philosophies.
Selected products from SenSpa’s natural body therapy range include the Lava Clay Hair & Scalp Masque, shortlisted for the haircare award; the best-selling Talc Free Natural Body Powder, shortlisted for the Body Care (Leave On) Award; and SenSpa’s Relaxing Body Wash, shortlisted for the Body Care (Take Off) award.
The shortlist follows a period of intensive testing of entries by a 100-strong team of dedicated testers, many of whom regularly test for Awards partners Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible, and each with sensitive or problem skin, or with a keen passion for ‘free from’ skincare.
Kirsty Mawhinney, Awards Administrator, said: “We were excited by the innovation in products this year, among them were spirulina and beetroot-coloured kids’ bath bombs, solid shampoo cubes, an eyelash oil, a scalp hydrator for men, and a probiotic deodorant.”
Winners and runners-up in all 14 categories will be announced at an invitation-only awards presentation and networking event held in the Pillar Room, London Olympia, on 5th July 2018.
