Hotel & Accommodation

With a long driveway and awe-inspiring 19th Century red brick architecture, this four-star hotel has 140 cosy, individually appointed rooms which revel in views of rural Berkshire. Interiors are classic and are sympathetically updated to compliment the original building, while the spacious Feature Rooms boast four-poster beds and private balconies overlooking the main entrance.

Speciality dishes and fine wines are the order of the day at the hotel’s elegant Orchid Restaurant while a less formal option looking out onto the landscaped gardens and woodland beyond is the aptly titled Forrest bar, where lighter but equally sophisticated meals are available.
