Set high on the cliffs of the Jurassic Coastline within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Ocean Spa is well situated to appreciate the sweeping vistas that Dorset has to offer. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in the UK, Portland has proved an ideal location for a spa retreat since it was established by Verna Herry.

Boasting a range of spa treatments from facials and tanning, to detox therapy and Thai massages, The Ocean Spa is currently undergoing renovation, so wet facilities are temporarily unavailable while preparations are made for them to move into the main hotel, and spa treatments have been relocated to dedicated spaces also within the hotel.

The Ocean Spa is located within the wider context of The Venue hotel, a three star destination with 40 bedrooms in Southwell Park. Rooms and suites are light and contemporary, many enjoying the coastal views that Portland has to offer.

The Cliff Restaurant offers local produce and fresh seafood courtesy of the surrounding area. It is a relaxed, welcoming environment that invites children as well as business travellers to experience what they have to offer, including the aforementioned view, which is at its most prominent here thanks to the predominantly glass design.
