Read full postThe Chelsea based hotel is five star, and the combination of location, service and style mean that it gives you that wonderful sense of feeling expensive - which is something we all need to feel every once in a while!
There’s something about high ceilings that instantly makes a place feel decadent, but combine them with marble bathrooms, sumptuous interiors and the fusion of luxury and comfort combined with lots of space really takes the whole experience to another level - it makes us feel like Grace Kelly on holiday.
Here you will find more marble - Le Kalon Spa features intricate hand painted walls and a charming sense of exclusivity. It’s a little exotic hub in the heart of London with its hammam, gym, two saunas and treatments using La Sultane de Saba and Karin Herzog product lines. The whole place has that vibe of warm climates and hot weather - the kind that goddesses would be proud of - and as if to emphasise that point, they offer a facial named Cleopatra’s 23 Carat Gold Facial - we will leave you to imagine the details.
It will probably come as no surprise that the restaurant is award winning, but in addition to main meals and a delightful cocktail list, they also offer afternoon teas and grazing menus. They are ideal if you want something a little lighter or a bite in the mid afternoon, which we usually find is in order after spa treatments and a good dose of relaxation. It’s all very tiring after all!
The location of The Bentley London is one of its many assets - within walking distance of Gloucester Road Tube Station, Earl’s Court and South Kensington. It’s easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport. It’s in the midst of Chelsea, so upmarket shopping is on your doorstep with Harrods and Sloane Square within spitting distance. Not that this is an area for spitting mind you.
The Bentley London really is flawless. The spa is small and is very much about the relaxation experience and having a really beautiful treatment. So it’s the perfect place to embrace everything about the venue, explore the surrounding area, have afternoon tea or a decadent meal, and revel in the luxury of it all. It’s a wonderfully romantic place to visit as well, thanks to its luxurious standards, so if you’re looking to treat someone, it’s perfect.
