From 19th to 21st September, World Wellness Weekend will be setting out in an annual, global effort to celebrate the importance of wellbeing, and in a first of its kind for Revive at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham - Cotswolds, the hotel and spa will be hosting a one night retreat that invites you to rest, relax, and recover with dedicated time for self-care.
Every September, just before the Equinox, World Wellness Weekend commences - a global event spanning 10,000 venues, 160 countries, and 2,800 cities, where activities are available to help individuals embrace and enjoy their wellbeing. Each activity falls under one of their five pillars of wellness, and aims to be an antidote to our incredibly stressful and sedentary lives. Those pillars include:
Perhaps you will try something new, perhaps you will take the time to do something you really enjoy but always put at the bottom of the to-do list - World Wellness Weekend encourages millions of people to resume a regular physical routine after the summer, almost like New Year resolutions in January.
Taking part in World Wellness Weekend for the first time this year, DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham - Cotswolds have created an overnight spa break that's dedicated to the weekend's ethos, with a particular focus on mindfulness and serenity.
The 1 Night World Wellness Weekend Retreat includes:
The meditation is a central feature of the spa break, hosted by Gina, a meditation coach with more than 10 years' experience. The session is designed to be uplifting and give you a taste of a practice that you can carry into your home life. It begins gently with breath work and light stretching to prepare your body and mind, before guiding you through a meditation focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. Gina says it's perfect for beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with their inner calm.
The spa and leisure facilities at Revive at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham - Cotswolds are the real place for those looking for an easy, restful overnight stay, or anyone starting their wellness journey. Their facilities include a gym, 15-metre pool, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, while their therapists use ELEMIS and Natural Spa Factory product lines in their collection of face and body treatments.
For World Wellness Weekend they invite guests to make the most of their time at the spa, using the facilities for the entirety of their stay - you can even add an extra night if you want to maximise the experience.
