In the tranquil Peak District National Park and surrounded by its own 18-hole golf course, Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf and Country Club has lots of wonderful things to recommend it - all of which are best discovered in person. To give you an idea, here are five reasons we love it...
If you're seeking rest and relaxation, what could possibly be better than the natural beauty and calm surroundings of the Peak District National Park? Shrigley Hall is set in an enchanting location, nestled within 262 acres of countryside including grounds, gardens and its own golf course. Bring your walking boots!
Built in 1825 as the family home of William Turner MP, today Shrigley Hall Hotel is a four-star hotel, but it retains the grandeur of a luxury home. Alongside the retained historic architecture and original features, the hotel has been enhanced and updated with lavish interiors and plush furnishings, while the spa is the height of contemporary wellness.
The BAZAAR Spa has a range of facilities that are a joy to use, especially the outdoor pool and hot tub. However, the leisure experience doesn't stop there. The hotel and its vast grounds are home to an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts and gardens to roam in... you might want to consider extending that spa break by a couple of days.
The hotel is ideal for family holidays or group getaways, with double rooms and family rooms, lots of space and amazing grounds. The pool and spa are restricted to guests aged 16 and over, so there's time dedicated to pampering. They offer girly group spa packages, which are a joy, and plenty of gorgeous treatments - more on that in a moment. It's also located in Cheshire, within easy reach of activities and attractions such as Chester Cathedral, Lyme Park, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Oulton Park and Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village.
A Black Cleanse Smoothie? A Gold Facial? BAZAAR Spa at Shrigley Hall not only has lovely facilities, but they have really thought about their spa treatments. Using Decléor products, they offer a range of face and body treatments, so make sure you take the opportunity to try something you've never had before.
