- Champneys food philosophy - healthy eating with style
Champneys Tring is the flagship spa destination for the nationwide Champneys brand. A wellness bastion known for their luxurious and knowledgeable approach to health and wellbeing, it was founded by naturopath Stanley Lief in 1925. Today the red brick manor house continues to represent Britain’s original health spa, defining the industry and setting standards across the country. It has attracted celebrities for decades, with names including Naomi Campbell and Brad Pitt gracing its corridors. Rooms and suites are divided between the historic grandeur of the manor house and the contemporary chic of the Garden Wing. Either way, plush soft furnishings promote a peaceful night’s sleep, while large windows let in abundant natural light and views of bucolic bliss.
Food is superbly important at Champneys, proving that a healthy lifestyle is not one devoid of flavour and helping guests to maintain or start a healthy relationship with food. Champneys food philosophy is a cornerstone of the experience. Alcohol is limited; instead they offer a bounty of healthy fare that celebrates British heritage as well as an international influence. Everything that’s served is innovative and tantalising, designed to make you feel your best by the time you leave.
