Moonfleet Manor is one of the Luxury Family Hotels prize destinations, a Georgian jewel overlooking Chesil Beach and the Fleet Lagoon. Now it's become even more special following a refurbishment that's added new rooms and a fresh new look.
Family magic
Each of the hotels in the Luxury Family Hotels collection is designed for families of every kind, offering all the little things required to ensure an enjoyable, relaxing and memory-making stay. From babies through to teens, expectant parents to grandparents and even dog owners, all age groups and families of every genre are thoughtfully considered and catered for with an incredible range of amenities and facilities.
From a milk butler service with the delivery of sterilised and heated bottles of milk and the provision of all the equipment parents could need, to dedicated children’s libraries for grandparents to reconnect with little ones and cinemas with daily screenings, Luxury Family Hotels encourage families to spend quality time together, safe in the knowledge that all the little things are taken care of.
Inclusive childcare and entertainment
Each property offers 90-minutes of complimentary childcare per night’s stay at their on-site Ofsted-registered Four Bears Den, swimming pools, wellness facilities and indoor and outdoor play areas. Most properties also have animals onsite, so guests can pop by to say hello.
Moonfleet's new look
Overlooking Chesil Beach on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Moonfleet Manor has undergone a series of substantial renovations over the last few years, with the latest phase finished this year.
Designed by StudioJill, the interiors have been completely re-imagined, with inspiration from the property’s heritage and coastal setting. One of the additions that was unveiled this spring is the new Fleethouse rooms, which have the most impressive views of the fleet and beyond.
Last year, a brand new Science Room also opened, where children can learn how to experiment, alongside the existing Escape Rooms, a first for a UK hotel. These rooms form part of the hotel’s extensive activity hub, a rare find in a luxury British hotel, and a welcome retreat in inclement weather, featuring a traversing wall, skittle alley, retro arcade games, crazy golf and a play area for under fives.
