Why we love Marine Troon
On the dramatic West Coast of Scotland, this four-star hotel is famous for its heritage, its golf and its hospitality. Here are just a few reasons we love Marine Troon.
Read full postLast week we wrote about dog-friendly spas where favoured pets can accompany their owners for a little R’n’R all of their own. Now Raithwaite Hall Country Retreat has also joined the ranks with a serious pet pampering component thrown into their already rather special service.
Hailed as North Yorkshire’s only dog spa, it proclaims to ‘relax, energise, and invigorate’ your dog with treatments such as Dead Sea salt baths, Dead Sea mud baths, aromatherapy treatments, and Thalasso therapy, in addition to the more standard grooming, trimming, and cleansing options. I tell you, these dogs don’t know how good they have it.
The Dog Spa is run by Hazel Gill who has claimed the Best in Breed title at Crufts for many of her dogs, but in all honesty even without the proverbial bells and whistles Raithwaite Hall is a pretty glorious place for any dog to spend time thanks to the surrounding gardens and peaceful location.
Just another excuse to visit really!
