Part of our Elysium Collection of gold standard spas, Living Well Spa at Homefield Grange joined Spabreaks.com earlier this year. Having experienced the life changing power of a true health retreat herself, naturopath Suzanne Peck has dedicated her life to health and wellness, embodied in Homefield Grange. Believing that health is at the heart of feeling good about ourselves, it is a destination spa where experiences are built on passion and personal goals. The result is an all-encompassing experience with a truly holistic sense of wellness at its core, and no lack of luxury either.
Accommodation at Homefield Grange
A farmhouse that has been turned into an idyllic health retreat, Homefield Grange is a destination spa experience focusing on health and wellbeing. The kind of place you go to be immersed in the wellness experience, there are 13 beautiful rooms to choose from, each decorated in contemporary luxe style in rich jewel hues or muted greys, plush textures and carefully considered details.
Living Well nutrition
Food is a huge part of the wellness experience at Homefield Grange, making the health kitchen a central focus of any stay. Detox here means a holiday from stimulants, alcohol, wheat, dairy, meat and sugar. Two chefs, each with an international reputation, prepare a plant-based menu including cleansing drinks and using fresh organic produce, much of which is home grown. Purified water and herbal infusions are all part of the daily routine, as well as inspiring food demonstrations to help you continue the feel good factor at home.
The spa at Homefield Grange
The spa is purpose built, designed to deliver on the ideals of the retreat. It is not huge, but it is created with intent, offering some of the most beautiful and innovative facilities and treatments you will find in the UK. Ultra contemporary, but in keeping with the farmhouse location, the spa is decorated in natural stone, slate and cedar wood. Innovative treatments and therapies including an Egyptian Sand Treatment and magnetic loungers are accompanied by wellness lessons such as Nordic walking. Meanwhile, therapies focus on detox, pampering, refreshing, toning and renewing, working in partnership with spa brands Decleor, Pevonia and the 100% organic range, Made For Life Organics.
The location for Living Well
Set in the exquisite Northamptonshire countryside, the retreat enjoys a real sense of tranquility from the moment you arrive. The result is that Suzanne and her team have worked extremely hard to provide a wellbeing experience that is truly holistic and enjoyable. As a result, fitness goes well beyond a gym and a workout, and includes both indoor and outdoor activities that range from yoga to Nordic walking in the exceptional grounds of the farmhouse.
That said, it’s also easy to get to, just a 10 minute taxi ride from Kettering Station. East Midlands Trains operate a direct 55 minute journey time from St Pancras station twice every hour.
