Read full postAn award-winning resort in Wales, The Vale Resort has earned a reputation for being all things to all people, but in particular we think it’s an incredible place to visit with a group of friends. Here’s why…
The Vale Resort has two PGA Championship golf courses surrounding it. So whether you’re a seasoned golfer or not, it sets the scene and offers variety for different people joining your group.
It’s set in 650 acres of Welsh countryside, making it both beautiful and providing plenty of space to get out and explore on a prolonged stroll or cycle.
Those aren’t the only ways to spend time, though. Before you even get to the spa, there are also squash and tennis courts to compete on. The spa also has lots of different experiences to enjoy such as the chill out zone; a water zone with water beds and water features.
There are 19 treatment rooms in the spa using a selection of products chosen to best deliver a wide range of treatments. So there’s plenty of space for you and your friends to have treatments at the same or similar times.
Not really adding to the group experience, but a nice, authentic touch nonetheless, The Vale Resort spa has produced its own Maychang Halo product range. Using Welsh sea salt amongst its ingredients, it means you can take a little piece of the experience home.
There’s lots of space for a convivial get-together, not least the Salamanza Champagne Bar. Amusingly named after a 12 bottle capacity Champagne bottle, it reflects a hint of the 1930s with a grand piano, modern art and a mirrored bar providing the backdrop.
It’s large, complete with 143 bedrooms. So you and your friends can all stay for an overnight celebration, hen do, stag party. Maybe even a work Christmas party.
They have tailored experiences for the enjoyment of groups of friends, such as the Together Spa Break for groups of 10 or more. It comes complete with one night’s bed and breakfast, a three course dinner, a choice of one 55-minute treatment each, lunch, a glass of fizz and full use of the spa facilities as well as complimentary room upgrade for a chosen member of the party.
