Ultra modern and with plenty of space for you to enjoy quality time by yourself or with friends, Doubletree by Hilton Chester is a longstanding favourite destination of the Spabreaks.com team. Making wellbeing easy, here are just a few of the reasons we love it.
Despite its modern credentials, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chester is located in a pretty 18th-century manor house, combining the best of old and new for a contemporary getaway. A former courthouse, it has retained its high ceilings in grand ballrooms, giving it a sense of grandeur and occasion.
The spa and leisure club has been purpose built, so it has everything you need to work out and wind down. Work up a sweat in the gym or one of their exercise classes, enjoy a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools, and relax in the thermal experience, complete with a mud rasul. They also have 14 treatment rooms, and therapists use a combination of Semonin Paris and Pevonia products in a selection of therapies. If you're anything like us, you won't be able to choose just one.
The hotel sits in 12 acres of landscaped gardens, which sets the scene for a restful getaway. Spend time enjoying a stroll in the fresh air, or simply marvel at the views across the walled gardens at dinner from the aptly named Garden Room & Terrace Restaurant.
With the abundant space and relaxed atmosphere, Doubletree by Hilton Chester is an ideal place for a spa break with friends. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion (baby shower, hen party, birthday), or just getting together for some quality time, there's space for everyone to have a spa treatment, relax by the pool and enjoy the facilities.
The location of the hotel is also one of its great attractions. While it's surrounded by gardens that provide a sense of peace, it's also within easy reach of Chester with its pretty street and popular shops. While you're there you might enjoy exploring the town's Roman heritage, have a day at Chester Racecourse or spend an evening at Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre.
