A luxurious Warwickshire escape, Elan Spa at Mallory Court is a completely delicious experience from start to finish. The hotel and spa are both destinations in their own rights - even the gardens are worth visiting all by themselves. For those looking to feel totally spoiled in quintessentially English style, this intimate retreat is the place to go. Here are just a few of the reasons we love Elan Spa at Mallory Court.
There are so many details at Mallory Court to comment on, but amongst the first things you will notice is the beauty of the hotel. The four-star, country house hotel in Leamington Spa centres around the pretty, Lutyens-style, creeper clad main property. Inside, stately features combine with a warm welcome as you make your way to a selection of rooms and suites. There are 20 within the main house, each offering a sense of traditional charm. The popularity of the retreat is such, however, that they added a selection of more contemporary rooms in the adjacent Orchard House. For special occasions, the master suites are definitely worth upgrading to, complete with views across the terrace.
Set in 10 acres of lush, green gardens, the location of Mallory Court really helps you relax and unwind. Enjoy the scent of the abundant Lavender as you stroll in the morning air, and relish the knowledge that many of the herbs and vegetables that come with your dinner are grown in the hotel’s kitchen garden.
At the end of the garden there's a particular treasure - the Elan Spa. Nestled amongst the trees, there's a sense of true escapism as you head into the purpose-built space. Contemporary and light, it centres around a thermal experience including a hydro pool and an outdoor vitality pool, which allows you to relax amongst nature. There's no lack of decadence though - if you feel like a glass of champagne as you have a manicure in the nail bar, you're most welcome.
After soaking, steaming and unwinding, it would be remiss not to sample the spa treatments at Elan Spa. Using the Mediterranean inspired Temple Spa products, they offer a range of spa rituals, body treatments and facials. Manicures and pedicures use Jessica Nails products, and for couples or friends enjoying quality time together, the rasul is a definite must.
Back in the hotel, food is the cherry on top of your stay. The Dining Room is the hotel's main restaurant, with three AA Rosettes to its name and a head chef who takes pride in preparing seasonal menus. Drawing on the ingredients of the Warwickshire countryside and mixing modern trends with long forgotten traditional recipes.
