Read full postWell known as the perfect destination for group spa getaways, Whittlebury Hall has been welcoming guests in one form or another since 1905 when the golf course opened, and it's still a favourite. Here are just a few reasons why.
There are so many wellbeing facilities at Whittlebury Hall that spa and leisure are divided, providing their own unique offerings. There's a gym and swimming pool which has its own sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. That's before you head to the dedicated, adult-only Heat and Ice Experiences complete with an aromatherapy crystal steam, caldarium, experience showers, foot spas, a hydrotherapy pool, ice cave, roman salt steam, sanarium and tepidarium. Crucially, this is also enormous, so there's lots of space whether you're with a group of friends, just two of you or on your own.
Making sure everyone has time for a treatment or two, the spa has an expansive 23 treatment rooms including a hammam chamber. Here, they offer a full menu of ESPA Elemis, and Jessica Nails therapies for every preference. It doesn't stop there though - the spa also hosts a partnership between ESPA’s natural skincare and The Light Salon's LED, in their own dedicated Light Salon. Here, they deliver advanced, results-driven facials in a non-invasive form of skincare and with three unique treatments available only at Whittlebury Park Spa.
The hotel is repeatedly praised for its combination of high standards and unpretentious warm welcomes. Immediately embracing, despite the scale, the four-star destination has 254 rooms and is all contemporary interiors despite the manor house style of the property.
Named for the Silverstone race circuit next door, the Silverstone Bar is the perfect place for a drink before fine dining in Murray’s restaurant. They have been awarded three AA Rosettes for their culinary offering, while their Astons Restaurant (continuing the motor theme) is also popular for its more relaxed offering. For light meals and non-alcoholic drinks as part of your spa day, The Spa Terrace Café is also a restful place to refuel.
As well as being well known for its hospitality, Whittlebury Hall is famous for its golf course. Providing a verdant view from all corners of the hotel, Whittlebury Park is a 36-hole, championship golf course, enjoying four loops of nine holes, each with their own unique character. This is flanked by the Atrium Clubhouse, which has twice been named 'UK Clubhouse of the Year'.
