The event welcomed over 110 guests on Monday 21st of October in a celebration of the Irish hotel sector. The awards acknowledged the value of hotels that lie within the heart of local communities in Ireland and recognised the importance of hotels, how they help drive tourism by offering visitors exceptional hospitality and a unique Irish experience.

The River Spa at Knightsbrook is a holistic cultural venture with advanced science-based treatments that promote a soulful, healthy and sustainable life. As for treatments, the product houses used are Comfort Zone and the Natural Spa Factory. They also won Hotel Spa of the Year.

The Shandon Hotel and Spa overlooks the breathtakingly beautiful Sheephaven Bay and is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, being just a short drive from Dunfanaghy and Horn Head.
