She first appeared on our screens in Big Brother in 2010, but these days Josie Gibson is taking the world of fitness by storm, as she explains here!
How has life changed since you appeared on Big Brother in 2010?
My life has just been a whirlwind really, I honestly thought finding fame would mean I didn’t have to work so hard but I actually work 10 times harder than I did before! I love it!
You were basically the show’s most popular contestant ever - how does that feel?!
I’ve never really thought about it like that but I’m very flattered. I think its the Bristolian accent.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to own a strip club, but when I told the careers advisor that was my dream job she looked at me with disgust so I started my early days making tumble dryers and order picking.
What do you do to relax?
Walk the dog, cycle, or my favorite is high intensity interval training and of course when I’m really stressed I like to treat myself to a spa day.
How do you stay in shape?
I do my fitness DVD routines, design circuits for myself, and I eat as clean and natural as possible.
Do you have a desert island beauty product?
Yes! Three actually! I love Miners make-up, Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, and Dermalogica cleansers. When I use these my skin feels like its just been re-born
Do you have a role model?
Raquel Welch
Do you have a favourite spa treatment or one you would like to try?
I love a facial but my favourite has got to be a Thai massage. I also love lava shells.
What’s your tip for looking and feeling your best when you have a hectic schedule?
Plenty of sleep, plenty of water, and eating well with no sugar highs.
Complete this sentence: A beautiful woman is … caring, considerate, empathetic, and kind hearted.
We encourage everyone to do one thing each week to be kind to themselves; what’s your #bekindtoyou for this week?
Exercise, eat clean, and treat myself to a good old spa day with Spabreaks.com because I did recently and it felt like I’d been on a mini holiday!
