Having taken time over the last two years, to consider the best route possible for introducing spa treatments for anyone with or recovering from cancer, they have now formally launched their Cancer Touch Therapy treatments.
Spa treatments for anyone with or recovering from cancer
Working with Made for Life by Spiezia Organics from Cornwall, their bespoke, soothing and calming Cancer Touch rituals are delivered by therapists trained to treat anyone who is undergoing treatment, recovering, living or supporting those with cancer.
Made for Life Organics was the first company to achieve 100% organic certification across the entire collection from the Soil Association, and the therapies created aim to deliver safe and nurturing treatment to clients at any stage of cancer, with a Cancer Touch program developed in liaison with Macmillan Cancer Support.
“The amazing girls feel like part of my therapy team and make you forget you have cancer…if only for the hour.”
All products are made by hand in using organically-cultivated herbs, flowers and oils, ensuring that they provide relief to even the most sensitive and sensitised skins, but crucially what the Cancer Touch training has done is ensure that therapists are confident in their knowledge and ability to treat anyone at any stage of cancer and adapt treatments according to individual requirements.
The Cancer Touch practice is an extension of Seaham Hall’s already supremely bespoke attitude to spa treatments and so far has had wonderful feedback from clients. One client said: “Since the launch I have been back three times and can’t wait for my next therapeutic session; the amazing girls feel like part of my therapy team and make you forget you have cancer…if only for the hour.”
