Abi Wright, founder of our Spabreaks.com, has been named as one of the Timewise Power 50 for her flexible approach to modern business.
The Timewise Power 50 annual awards champions executives and organisations who excel at flexible working. In 2019, the judges sought out examples of how part-time and flexible workers achieved phenomenal success. They pinpointed Abi’s model of business and working environments as the embodiment of this modern culture.
Timewise co-founder and judge Karen Mattison MBE said:
“Abi Wright is a phenomenal success story. She has built a multi-million pound business, and all on a flexible basis, over 11 years. Abi, and the other winners all represent how work in the UK is changing. Meanwhile, the Timewise Power 50 List has become a beacon of hope. It shines a light on what’s possible in the working world. What’s clear this year, is that the so-called quiet revolution in the workplace has suddenly found its voice. With five generations all working alongside each other in the modern workplace, and working flexibly for all kinds of reasons. This is no longer about a concession being made for a small number of workers. It’s becoming more the norm.”
Commenting on the award, Abi said:
“We are so excited to be named as one of the Timewise Power 50. Our entire business model is focused on creating the perfect work/life balance. To be recognised for our positioning is this area is an honour.”
