Read full postThere's so much to love about this five-star hotel and spa in Surrey, whether you're visiting for the day, overnight or for a luxurious mini-break. Here are just a few of the reasons we love Pennyhill Park.
Perfect for romantic breaks, celebrations and just because you deserve it, Pennyhill Park has won multiple awards for its decadent hospitality. The Tudor manor house dates back to 1609 but the experience is all 21st-century. There's a private cinema if you're in the mood for a movie, and even a pillow menu to make sure you get the best night's sleep.
There are two restaurants at the hotel, and that's before you get to the spa. The Latymer has a Michelin Star for its fine dining experience, while the Brasserie, under Ram Jalasutram, is a less formal option but still has two AA Rosettes.
Pennyhill Park is surrounded by 123 acres of grounds and gardens, which not only mean that the views are exquisite, but there's also plenty to do. As you admire the topiary, decorative ponds and waterfalls, take time for a game of tennis, go cycling, play croquet or enjoy a gentle stroll.
Standing at 45,000 sq. ft, the spa at Pennyhill Park is one of the largest in the UK. Brimming with facilities, you can spend all day in your robe and slippers, enjoying rest and relaxation. Amongst its many attributes are a ballroom pool with underwater music, a series of indoor/outdoor thermal pools, and its very own spa cafe.
When it comes to treatments at Pennyhill Park, the sky's the limit. With 23 treatment rooms, there's space for you and a group of friends to enjoy plenty of pampering. The spa has its own products, and also works with exclusive Spanish brand, Natura Bissé, who have treatments that feature crushed diamonds and rose essence. It's even home to one of only 24 Natura Bissé ‘bubbles’ in the world, where you have treatments in an environment where 99.995% of the air breathed is purified and free of polluting particles.
If all of that isn't enough, Pennyhill Park is also an enviable location for anyone who feels like a day at the races with Ascot Racecourse just 20-minutes away.
