Products all the way from Australia, Four Seasons Hotel Dublin explains why Sodashi gives the natural solution to a facial boost …
What exactly is the Sodashi Thermal Infusing Treatment?
Billed as “Nature’s Face Lift”, the Sodashi Thermal Infusing Treatment is an unique facial that restores forgotten elasticity and radiance to the skin. It is tailored to your skin’s needs to purify and either deeply cleanse or nourish and incorporates a beautiful lifting, anti-ageing, stimulating facial massage followed by a thermal mask that heats up to your body’s core temperature. Lasting 90 minutes it begins with Sodashi’s signature aromatic hot compresses to the feet and aromatic inhalation to ground both the therapist and the guest. After a gentle cleanse the skin is gently exfoliated with three hot compresses of the Rejuvenating Concentrate followed by an application of an oil to the face, neck and décolletage. A 20-minute signature facial massage with advanced anti-ageing techniques ensues, lulling the guest into complete relaxation. The skin is then prepared with Eye Lifting Gel, Rejuvenating Skin Boost and the Eye and Lip Smoother before the Plant Essence Replenish Face Mask is applied to the face and neck. The Thermal Infusing Face Mask is applied and left for 25 minutes which heats up to the body core temperature of 37 degrees. While the mask is on a relaxing hand and arm massage is performed. The whole experience concludes with a spritz of Calming Rose Face Mist and application of Eye and Lip Smoother and Rejuvenating Face and Neck Moisturiser, followed by a closing inhalation to leave the guest revived and feeling radiant after the treatment.
Where does it come from?
Based in Perth in Western Australia, Sodashi formulates and produces unique and innovative skincare products and spa therapies and is the world’s only 100% natural range devoted exclusively to the spa industry. Unlike many international skincare companies the products are made to order in their own state of the art laboratory. In Sanskrit, Sodashi translates to “wholeness, purity and radiance”, which aptly describes the foundations for what Sodashi represents.
What is it supposed to do?
The Thermal Infusing Face Mask heats up to 37 degrees which is the body’s core temperature; this will maximise the penetration of the essential vitamins deep into the dermal layer and into the bloodstream for maximum internal and external benefits. This combined with the advanced facial massage, deeply nourishes the skin, increase circulation, promotes toxin drainage and stimulates the lymph system. The final result shows noticeably hydrated and toned skin with restored elasticity and radiance. Results are immediate and will continue over the following weeks due to the products being able to work at a deeper level. It is also an incredibly relaxing experience.
Is there anything you recommend clients do pre or post-treatment to get the most out of it?
We always recommend that a guest arrive early to relax and change. Post treatment, I recommend the guest asks any questions they might have about products used and ways to continue the benefits. If the guest decides to wait to see the benefits from the facial themselves, I recommend that they do not apply make-up to their skin or wash their face that evening.
Is there anyone you particularly recommend the treatment for?
Ultimately, everyone can benefit from this treatment. It encompasses a wide range of fantastic benefits. People with mature or dry/dehydrated skin should definitely add this to their spa bucket list.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t have this treatment and why?
This treatment works for everyone, although people with ultra sensitive skin or rosacea should probably avoid the heated thermal mask.
