A brand new face and body treatment at GAIA Spa at Boringdon Hall in time for summer

The Everglowing Face and Body Treatment from the award-winning spa and skincare brand GAIA, is the revitalising treat for mind and body you didn't know you were waiting for.

Amidst the beauty of the Devonshire countryside, the exquisite GAIA Spa at Boringdon Hall is introducing a brand new treatment in time for summer. Using GAIA Skincare, the award-winning natural spa and skincare brand, the Everglowing Face and Body Treatment is a revitalising, head-to-toe experience that blends mindful rituals, invigorating massage techniques, and radiant skincare to leave guests feeling refreshed, renewed, and truly glowing.

What the Everglowing Face and Body Treatment includes

Available as a 60-minute or extended 90-minute treatment, the journey begins with GAIA’s renowned signature foot ritual, where you choose from one of three bespoke body oil blends – Awakening, Balancing, or Calming – to personalise the sensory experience. A deeply cleansing back exfoliation follows, preparing the skin for a relaxing back and shoulder massage (available in the 90-minute treatment), designed to ease tension and promote stillness. You are then treated to a beautifully layered radiance facial, including a gentle exfoliation to brighten the complexion and an optional face mask to deeply nourish the skin, with a neck and shoulder massage during the 90 minute version. A Gua Sha stone facial massage completes the facial, stimulating lymphatic drainage and encouraging a natural lift. GAIA’s new Mineral SPF Moisturiser is then applied, offering natural, broad-spectrum sun protection using apricot kernel oil and geranium essential oils to hydrate, soothe and protect the skin from environmental stressors. The ritual finishes with a stimulating leg and foot massage, incorporating GAIA’s signature Strengthening Fitness Gel, a cooling and revitalising blend of ginger and peppermint to soothe tired muscles and awaken the senses. It's perfect for relieving stress and tension, designed to uplift and revitalise the mind and body. For optimal results, drink lots of water, leave the products on the skin for the rest of the day, and enjoy a herbal tea in the relaxation room to reflect relax and unwind.

What you need to know about Boringdon Hall Hotel

Set in a Grade I listed manor house that has a history that stretches back as far as the Domesday Book. Boringdon, or ‘Burth-Y-Don’, meaning ‘enchanted place on the hill’ in Saxon - became crown property in 1539 following Henry VIII’s dissolution of the monasteries.

It later came into the hands of Henry Grey, the Duke of Suffolk and father of Lady Jane Grey – later Queen of England for a mere nine days. It’s thought that Queen Elizabeth stayed at Boringdon in 1588 whilst travelling through the West Country, while other notable guests have included Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh. They enjoyed a banquet at the manor in Sir Francis Drake’s honour following his raid on the Spanish fleet in Cadiz in 1587.

Today, the Devonshire manor is a five-star retreat boasting 56 sumptuous rooms and suites, the renowned GAIA Spa, and three restaurants including the Michelin star and 4 AA Rosette restaurant Àclèaf, the Mayflower Brasserie, and the Spatisserie.
