If you haven’t yet visited Cloud Twelve in London, you’re in for a treat. Here, the team have carefully thought about the needs and desires for pampering and wellbeing for parents and children alike. Not simply providing childcare while mum and dad take time out, they have opened the doors to a whole new approach to family wellbeing. With no loss of luxury or wellness for parents, it provides plenty of genuine enjoyment and informative, fun and healthy eating and learning for kids as well. Let us explain…
The concept is really fabulous. A day spa in Notting Hill, it is every kind of stylish and healthy. A completely unique twist on the traditional concept of a family friendly spa, this elegant London space offers guests the chance to relax knowing that small children are not only safe, sound and having fun, but also developing their own understanding of health and wellbeing. They have on-site family spaces including a play zone, immersive classes designed to encourage creativity and cognitive development, a creche and a children’s cafe, all overseen by Ofsted-registered assistants.
The spa is a beautifully and lavishly decorated space - small and perfectly formed with a sauna, steam and salt rooms as well as a dedicated couples’ suite that you can book for private use. It is complete with Dolomites quartz treatment beds to help promote a deeper state of relaxation. There is a focus on eco friendly products and results driven treatments, but there’s no compromise to those glam finishing touches with a salon reserved for aesthetic treatments. They even use plant-based, eco-sustainable, non-toxic products such as vegan nail brands Nailberry and EVO.
One of the great joys of Cloud Twelve is how it’s turned some of the preconceived ideas about a spa visit on its head. Surprisingly for a day spa, and certainly for a family friendly one, the luxe ambiance makes it the perfect space for a day date. Easygoing, romantic and no need to organise childcare, there’s an ease to time with your partner that you might not have thought possible before the kiddies leave home!
The Brasserie offers a plant-based menu for everything from breakfast to lunch, teas, coffees and cakes. It’s about eating smart and eating well, so you can indulge whilst nourishing the mind, body and soul. It’s an inclusive experience that adults and children can both enjoy, with flavours inspired by Spain and the Middle East.
