Read full postFor those looking for an autumn spa getaway, Manor House Hotel - Alsager is new to Spabreaks.com and definitely worth a visit. The four-star hotel is welcoming, contemporary and relaxed, with one of the most charming pools you could ask to relax by. Here are five of the many reasons we recommend it.
Despite being formed around a former 17th-century farmhouse building, the hotel has been added to with lots of modern architecture and contemporary finishes. The result is a place that feels fresh and light, even on those darker days. The modern touches go right to the details, such as such as an Apple docking station in your room.
The pool in the Manor House Hotel spa is really beautiful. The large skylight lets in lots of natural light, which on an autumn spa getaway can feel especially magic, even when it rains. It’s also surrounded by the most beautiful loungers, including one that’s essentially a swing overhanging the edge of the pool. It almost feels like a tropical holiday!
The hotel offers the best of both worlds - easy to get to from the M6, but surrounded by picturesque countryside and pretty grounds that make Manor House Hotel feel extremely tranquil. Next year they will be extending the spa experience by incorporating the outside space even more with a custom created English Spa Garden.
Providing a delicious sense of holistic wellness, the spa offers beautiful treatments that almost sound good enough to eat. Inspired by nature and in keeping with the rustic surroundings, you can enjoy a Salt Grain Massage, a Warm Honey and Helichrysum Facial, or a white Chocolate and Orange Blossom Facial - as a few examples.
Manor House Hotel is highly recommended for visiting either with a couple of friends or with a partner, not least because of the fun and flirty dinner and drinks environment. It’s warm, convivial and relaxed - perfect for chattering away late into the evening over classic pub favourites and cocktails or over bottomless brunches at the weekend.
