Hoar Cross Hall – 10 reasons to fall in love

hoar-cross-hall

As one of the most luxurious and welcoming spas in the UK, it’s little wonder that Hoar Cross Hall attracts guests back time and again. But what exactly is it that makes it so special? Here are 10 reasons we love Hoar Cross Hall…

It’s an adult-only hotel spa:

Hoar Cross Hall is a really special place that’s best shared with a partner or a really good friend. It’s a beautiful country house hotel set in 50 acres of grounds and gardens. The Elizabethan property is accompanied by a contemporary spa with a wide variety of thermal facilities and world-class treatments.

It’s award winning:

In case you needed any confirmation of its excellence, the hotel has won numerous awards. That includes the Regional Spa of the Year award for the Midlands at the Professional Beauty Awards.

It’s romantic:

Historic architecture and design harp back to a bygone age of true romance. Combined with the contemporary spa and exemplary service, the picture is complete for a really romantic escape.

They offer spa breaks for people with cancer:

Working to ensure a spa experience that anyone can enjoy at any stage of wellbeing, Hoar Cross Hall has highly trained staff. This enables them to offer treatments and packages adapted for the wellbeing of anyone with or recovering from cancer.

It’s in a scenic location:

Hoar Cross Hall is renowned as a beautiful setting with a multitude of aspects that all contribute to its air of total escapism. In particular, the fact that it’s surrounded by 50 acres of grounds and landscaped gardens, is a real draw card, setting the tone for a relaxing retreat.

There’s a wide range of activities:

We mentioned those grounds, and they’re not just for looking at. Cycling, tennis, archery, croquet and boules are all available within the grounds of the hotel.

Hoar Cross Hall’s architecture:

The stately home was commissioned by Hugo Meynell Ingram and completed in 1871, and has retained many of its original, ornate features.

Food is a really stylish experience:

Dining at Hoar Cross Hall is a spectacular event. Breakfast and dinner are held in the former ballroom, characterised by William Morris wallpaper, Sienna marble mantelpieces, and the 19th century ‘wedding cake’ ceiling. Meanwhile, Henry’s is a sensual treat for Mediterranean breakfasts and lunches as well as all-day coffee, tea and melt in the mouth cakes.

They make things personal:

For example, in the restaurant they are really accommodating to dietary requirements. They have a vegetarian menu and were very helpful advising on vegan options when we visited.

They have an amazing range of facilities:

That’s in addition to the grounds and everything they have to offer. There is a plunge pool, saunas, steam rooms, saunariums, body jets and foot and shoulder massagers. Kneipp pools, heated loungers, a Snooze Room, Slumber Lounge and Sanctum Relax Room are favourites. There’s also a Nordic heat and ice suite. To top it off, the spa offers more than 40 treatments from Elemis and Jessica and has its own Matthew Curtis hair salon.

They really think about their spa treatments:

Take, for example, their Tahitian Experience. It harnesses the essence of fresh summer flowers, the renowned healing properties of aloe vera, and sublime tiare flowers. You can try it in their new Soak up the Sun spa break.
