"LOVE... I FELL TO THE FLOOR... the build up was so good when they had their first kiss I SCREAMED." - Amazon review

We’d love to know your Summer Read recommendation - the one you'd press into someone's hands at the start of the holidays. Is it something new you're looking forward to this year, or a title you return to every summer?

Love Among Vines by Madison Score. My sister wrote it and with a winery, a lake, and a steamy romance, it’s the perfect summer read!

Mistakes Were Made - give us your best holiday pitch. What's the story, who is it for, and why is it the perfect spa break companion?

This book is for any woman who has ever simultaneously felt like she’s too much and not enough. It’s a triumphant reckoning, a joyful story about learning to love yourself, and of course, a funny, steamy romance. Did I mention there’s a trouble-making bald eagle with a crush?

Writing and unwinding - do you escape somewhere specific to write, or to stop writing? Tell us about your ideal environment for both creative thinking and proper rest.

I’m a beach girl. I love a getaway to the ocean. My idea of a perfect beach vacation involves planting myself under an umbrella on the sand and watching the waves while my brain works on pieces of a story.

If you could design your perfect spa break, what would it look like? Think setting, treatments, the playlist and of course, what's on the reading list?

It would be fall or winter and I’d be cozied up in a fluffy robe near a fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa between my aromatherapy massage and a relaxing facial appointments. I love the instrumental spa playlists so one of those would be playing while I read a cosy, spicy romance!

Sauna or steam room?

Paperback or e-reader?

Early morning dip or sunset soak?

The book you'd take to a desert island?

SAS Survival Manual (otherwise I would immediately perish)

Tea, coffee or something stronger - what's your writing fuel?

Dirty martini!

Guilty pleasure read - the one you'd always pack for a spa break?

Jana DeLeon’s Miss Fortune series
