From Miami Beach vibes to being at one with nature, here are some of our favourite coastal spa breaks as part of our Summer Edit.

The NICI, Bournemouth

For a modern getaway with vintage Miami vibes, The NICI is a dreamy destination perched on Bournemouth’s West Cliff. An award-winning hotel with sea views and easy access to miles of sandy beaches, it's fun, flirty, romantic, welcoming and classy all at once. Inside, the five-star hotel gives coastal chic a whole new meaning, inviting you to enjoy life sunny side up in The South Beach Restaurant & Bar, from flat whites in the morning to cocktails at night.

THE NICI Spa is all about modern, luxury wellbeing, with state-of-the-art sanctuary facilities and unique experiences from the 18-metre indoor pool to the OTO CBD and OSKIA spa treatments. One of our favourite features for summer, however, is the 30-metre outdoor pool surrounded by loungers, pretty gardens and sea views.

The Spa Hotel, Saltburn, North Yorkshire

This family-run spa hotel is in one of the most inspiring locations you could ask for, enjoying spectacular views of the famous vertical cliff, Huntcliff and the dramatic North Sea. In Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, it's a welcoming retreat for families, couples, surfers, dog walkers and more, serving up local food including a popular fondue complete with Terry's chocolate orange, brownies, and chunky shortbread fingers.

Just moments from the beach, The Spa Hotel Saltburn has an intrinsic sense of wellness to it. Experience fitness in the form of a lesson at nearby surf schools or head out for an invigorating walk along The Cleveland Way. At the hotel itself, you can then seek to rest and restore, with treatments from Elemental Herbology, and specialist skincare line, Environ, whether you want non-surgical, anti-ageing skin rejuvenation or a holistic massage.

The Club Hotel and Spa, Jersey

A five-star boutique hotel and spa in the heart of Jersey’s seaside capital, St. Helier, The Club Hotel and Spa is in one of the best locations for exploring the island, within walking distance of beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is a world of luxury, complete with its Michelin Star Bohemia Restaurant and a roof terrace where you can dine under umbrellas and olive trees, enjoying relaxed lunches and afternoon teas.

The spa is just as decadent as the rest of the hotel, with a saltwater pool and thermal suite, as well as a beautiful outdoor pool and rooftop terrace. When it comes to treatments no luxury is spared, with therapies using Decléor products, and a bespoke Rasul room where you can enjoy both mud and chocolate therapies in the heated chamber.

The Quay Hotel & Spa, North Wales

Located next to the breathtaking North Wales Coast, you will feel like you’ve entered a remote haven at this hotel, despite being close to the lovely sightseeing opportunities that Snowdonia has to offer.

Aside from golf, dry skiing and whitewater rafting nearby, in the hotel itself, the Marina Spa presents the perfect excuse to relax with a loved one. All treatments begin with a consultation, meaning each one is bespoke for you and using gorgeous ESPA products, will leave you feeling fabulous.

Slieve Donard Resort and Spa, County Down

Enjoying views across the majestic Mountains of Mourne and windswept dunes of County Down, Slieve Donard Resort is a historic hotel offering luxurious and restful escapes. Reimagined to channel the hotel’s original Victorian grandeur, it's ultra contemporary and offers the best of modern hospitality.

A grand Dame of a hotel, you’ll lap up the luxury of this seaside treasure, also known as 'The White Palace' for its impressive facade. The Grand Hotel's five-star grandeur belies its friendly approach, offering rest and relaxation in a location once graced by the likes of Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin and the composer Debussy, who wrote his symphony 'La Mer' here in 1905.

Wellbeing experiences invite you to spend time in the indoor and outdoor pools, rejuvenate in the whirlpool, and have a treatment or two. It's also worthwhile taking a coastal walk to the celebrated Seven Sisters cliffs.

St Mellion Estate, Cornwall

Surrounded by the beauty of Cornwall, the St. Mellion Estate is a feast of rest and relaxation experiences, combining luxury facilities and natural beauty. It includes a hotel, self-catering cottages, two golf courses, and a vast health club and spa, welcoming you whether it's a family escape, group getaway or time with your nearest and dearest. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from Plymouth, but also offers easy access to the coast, moorland and pretty seaside villages.

Trump Turnberry, Scotland

Recognised by Forbes Travel Guide, there aren’t many hotels that have their own beach where you can ride a horse, but in fairness, there aren’t many hotels like Trump Turnberry. Located on the rugged west coast of Scotland, the legendary Trump Turnberry, has been welcoming guests since 1906, with lavish interiors and magnificent views of the resort’s championship links golf course towards the Isle of Arran and beyond.

The Spa at Trump Turnberry is the cherry on top of the luxury experience. Relax with views of the Irish Sea in the spa, which includes a 20-metre pool, or work up a sweat in the Life Fitness studio.
