City style with plenty of space to relax and unwind? Rena Spa at Leonardo Royal City Hotel could be exactly what you’re looking for. In the City of London, this sleek hotel spa is perfect for after work R&R or a chic weekend getaway with London’s attractions on your doorstep. Here are five reasons we love it…
Leonardo Royal City Hotel is situated right by Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, placing it in the midst of the city’s key attractions. Close by you will find the Tower of London, or stroll along the Thames to the South Bank, Shakespeare’s Globe or all the way to the National Theatre if you fancy it.
The hotel is all about contemporary decadence. Clean lines, rich fabrics and magnificent city views from the rooms and suites. It’s warm and welcoming but uncompromisingly chic, with modern art on the walls and each space defined by modular design and carefully chosen colour blocks.
London is known for its wide variety of dining experiences from around the world, and you definitely get a taste of that at Leonardo Royal City Hotel. There are two restaurants and two bars - Forum Restaurant serves Mediterranean fare, Koto II is the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, there’s the The City Bar and Lounge for cocktails, and the Lutetia Bar and Brasserie for French food and alfresco summer dining.
The spa sits on the lower ground floor of the hotel, a seductive haven away from the buzz of the city. There’s a Neoclassical vibe around the 25-metre pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, while contemporary activities extend to the unique City Virtual Golf experience.
The spa treatments at Rena Spa are all about feeling spoiled. They have an aromatherapy suite and use Caudalie, Karin Herzog and Dermalogica product lines to offer a range of face and body therapies. Caudalie is known as the creator of vinotherapy (literally the healing powers of grape vines), Karin Herzog is a world leader in oxygen skincare, and Dermalogica is all about delivering results.
